Preparation

Baking
- Bake the apple crisp for about 40 minutes, until the apples are tender and the topping is crisp and golden.
- Allow the apple crisp to rest for about 10 minutes before serving so the filling can thicken slightly.

- Serve warm with optional vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or caramel sauce.
