Preparation
- Heat the oven to 400°F / 200°C and prepare a baking sheet or baking dish by lining it with parchment paper or foil.
- Dry the salmon fillets with paper towels, then season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey or agave syrup, and lime juice in a bowl, whisking until the sauce is smooth.
- Coat the top of each seasoned salmon fillet evenly with the bang bang sauce.
Baking
- Bake the salmon for 15–20 minutes, until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
- If desired, broil the salmon for the final 1–2 minutes to lightly caramelize the sauce, keeping a close watch to avoid burning.
Serving
- Allow the salmon to rest briefly, then finish with chopped green onions or cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
Notes
Dry the salmon before seasoning to help the sauce stick well and caramelize during baking.
