Ingredients

Salmon
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
Bang Bang Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
Garnish
  • Chopped green onions or sesame seeds, optional for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F / 200°C and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Dry the salmon fillets with paper towels, then season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  3. Combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and lime juice in a bowl, whisking until the sauce is smooth.
Baking
  1. Arrange the seasoned salmon fillets on the lined baking sheet and spread the bang bang sauce evenly over each fillet.
  2. Bake the salmon for 15–20 minutes, until it flakes easily and the internal temperature reaches 145°F / 63°C.
  3. If desired, broil the salmon for 1–2 minutes to lightly caramelize the sauce, then finish with green onions or sesame seeds and serve warm.

Notes

Allow the baked salmon to rest briefly before serving to help maintain tender fillets.
