Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 1/2 cups almond flour
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Peanut Butter Caramel Layer
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
Chocolate Coating
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons coconut oil
Topping
  • Flaky sea salt, optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8x8-inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Combine almond flour, melted butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt to form a soft dough.
  3. Press the dough into an even layer across the lined baking pan.
Baking
  1. Bake the crust for 10–12 minutes, until the edges turn lightly golden, then let it cool completely.
Filling
  1. Stir together peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond flour until the mixture is smooth.
  2. Spread the peanut butter caramel mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
  3. Freeze the layered bars for at least 1 hour until firm.
Assembly
  1. Melt the chocolate chips with the coconut oil until smooth.
  2. Remove the chilled bar layer from the pan and slice it into individual bars.
  3. Coat each chilled bar with the melted chocolate mixture.
  4. Place the coated bars on parchment paper and add flaky sea salt if desired.
  5. Freeze the finished bars for 10 minutes until the chocolate coating is set.
Serving
  1. Serve the bars chilled or let them soften slightly before serving.

Notes

Store the bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze them for up to 3 months.
