Salmon
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz / 170 g each)
Dijon Glaze
  • 4 tablespoons Dijon mustard, divided
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, as needed
  • Black pepper, as needed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder, divided
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, divided
Creamy Lemon Dijon Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat the oven to 400°F / 200°C and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Dry the salmon fillets with paper towels before adding the glaze.
  3. Combine 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, salt, and black pepper in a bowl to create the salmon glaze.
  4. Coat the salmon fillets evenly with the Dijon mixture and arrange them skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Cooking
  1. Bake the salmon for 12–15 minutes, until it flakes easily with a fork and reaches 145°F / 63°C internally.
Sauce and Serving
  1. Mix 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, honey, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, lemon zest, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until the sauce is smooth.
  2. Add the creamy lemon Dijon sauce over the baked salmon and finish with chopped parsley before serving.
